"Backing Up" a DVD

A friend of mine was looking to back-up a DVD that they had purchased and the last time I looked into this, it was some crazy complicated task. You had to use three or four different programs and half the time the backup looked like ass. Well, times have changed and now you can make a high-quality backup of a DVD with only two programs! It still takes a while, but less time than it takes to actually watch the movie.
I wrote a little article that lays out the steps. Sadly, these instructions are Windows only. Let me know if you find it useful. ;)
